1. Can I do supervision online?
Yes. Supervision is available online via Google Meet. If you are meeting clients face-to-face it is encouraged that you also attend face-to-face sessions at Commerce House.
2. Is my Supervisor qualified?
Yes. Isobel Cheshire has successfully completed a diploma in supervision from The Grove Practice in Integrative Supervision of Individuals and Groups and has been supervising since 2021.
3. Do I have to be from Lincolnshire?
No. If you are practising as an online counsellor you can access online supervision from anywhere in the UK.
4. Do I need to be registered with BACP?
Yes. Isobel works under the BACP Good Practice in Action and Ethical Framework and requires supervisees to be registered with BACP.
5. How much does supervision cost?
Although there are occasional circumstance where a concessionary rate is available, the standard cost for supervision is £90 for 90 minutes.
6. How frequently should I have supervision?
7 Swans Supervision works in line with the BACP Supervision Requirements. Each period of practice submitted in the practice log must be covered by a minimum of 1½ hours of supervision per month.
